Dr. Rund’s passion for dentistry was sparked when he was 13 years old. He remembers being self-conscious about his smile due to misaligned teeth. After going through 2.5 years of orthodontics he learned at a young age how having a confident smile can impact one’s life. Dr. Rund desires to give his patients the confidence they deserve through a smile they love.

Dr. Rund grew up in St. Louis, Missouri where he learned the power of work ethic from his 3 siblings and parents. He grew up competing in several different sports but found his love of football when he was in the 8th grade. Dr. Rund went on to be a 3-year starting quarterback
and team captain, all while breaking numerous school records at Quincy University. It’s through Dr. Rund’s football experience that he learned the importance of leadership, communication, and teamwork. He loves that dentistry allows him to be part of a team where he can use the skills he learned through football.

While at Quincy University Dr. Rund met his wife Rachel. They both studied Biological Sciences and led the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. They now live in Liberty, Missouri close to Rachel’s family. You can often find them on walks, working out, spending time with family, and enjoying local restaurants. Dr. Rund has transitioned his love of competition to the golf course and pickleball court where he competes with friends and family.
